Cyber resilience in action
In this seminar we will analyze recent cyber claims examples, emerging trends and the latest statistics to illustrate the current state of a constantly evolving risk landscape. Learn from case studies, how to adopt proactive risk mitigation strategies to protect company assets from a cyber incident, and learn how to dramatically reduce the financial impact of an incident, by having a specialized response team in place during the crucial first 72 hours. We will also analyze how insurance works in practice, during the different phases of a multinational cyber incident.
Emerging risks for Nordic companies with US exposure
We will dive into some of the most significant trends posing challenges on Nordic companies with exposures in the US , we will also outline what measures companies need to take to manage those risks effectively.
- During the last couple of years the number of securities class actions has spiked - how has this affected the insurance market? For those Swedish companies that have American Depository Receipts, the latest events are significant with respect to exposure against US Securities laws.
- The EPL landscape is changing too, with more claims, both with respect to frequency and severity, in California and New York. How has #MeToo affected companies?
Burning issues for environmental claims
The trends reflected in environmental claims over the past 12 months once again demonstrate that environmental exposures are far from static. They are set against an evolving risk landscape in which climate change is influencing fire risk, there is growing public awareness of environmental issues and increasing regulatory pressure across Europe to carry out inspections and make the polluter pay. In this seminar, we will discuss our insight from data collated on notified events during the past years including trends we are seeing in the Nordics and Europe, and countries that are posing a higher risk due to evolving local legislation.
